Transmission Trades Division:

The Transmission Trades Division was created as an
outgrowth of a collective bargaining agreement between
the UWUA and Utility Lines Construction Company.

These members operate and maintain the high voltage
electric transmission system in machinery on behalf of
system owner, the Independent Transmission Company
(ITC).

We are proud of being able to assist our members
have the resources to achieve an Associates Degree,
or certificate level education from an esteemed
community college. It was our vision that this education
go hand in hand with on-the-job training, and mentoring.
